Maison Montaut, nestled in the Landes countryside is a 2 centuries old mansion. The building was erected in year 1800, shaped by the very own hands of Alice’s husband ’s grand father and was passionately renovated by Alice and Arnaud. The couple cleverly mixed traditional and modern features, thus preserving its ancient charm. Each stone and corner of the house bears witness to sweet memories in which past and present embrace each other tenderly.

Maison Montaut, true guardian of sincere authenticity, was built in the 1800s in the heart of the Landes pine trees forest. It was renovated with high concerns regarding the surrounding ecosystem, and striving efforts to keep the richness of its traditional architecture intact. Briquettes, beams, exposed stones, each architectural element testifies to ancient charm and preserves the authenticity of a house steeped in history.

Maison Montaut displays its charms throughout 280 m2 of elegance and history. On the ground floor, a broad living room is adorned with family furniture and a fireplace spreads a friendly heat whenever the temperature drops down. An imposing wooden custom made table sits at the center of the room, ready to welcome feasts prepared in the fully equipped kitchen facing it. The youngest guests will have fun in the adjacent games room playing table football before joining the pétanque court for a lively outdoor game.
